Something sturdier and less vented than a race shoe but still stiff-soled. Good grip but not a winter shoe. Fine for JRA but capable of a bit of hike-a-biking over boggy moors.
45 in 'civvy shoes' so 46, 47 whatever crazy size might fit in the world of cycling

Size 46 but come up small! I am a 45 in normal shoes.

Got some Shimano MO85s, size 46. Shimano are just too narrow for me (i got some Lake wide-fitting ones instead) so they've been worn maybe 5 times. These ones:

thanks aaron-banger - i'd seen them but they've only got sz42 left now - apart from the Time DH show which is a great price but reminds me too much of club foot shoes!
