WTD: Shimano XTR M970 crank extractor tool (TL-FC35)

I've just got a set of M970 XTR cranks without the TL-FC35 tool to remove the cranks. Shimano supplied them with the cranks but it's gone missing along with the end-cap

Naturally the crank fitting is different to the previous M960 and the subsequent M980. The Shimano tool seems to be the only one available, and though it isn't much more than a hollow metal plug with a thread on the outside to pull the crank, it costs £25 to £35.

Does anyone have a spare that they could let me have for a tenner say? An end-cap would also be useful.

I think I might have a spare tool - let me check ce soir. If you are near reading/Oxford you can borrow the one I keep in my rucksack.

Rob - Thanks for the offer, I'm further East. I'd like to buy the tool so that I can get the cranks off when the chainrings need replacing - which may not be that far away! If you've got a spare for sale that would be great.
