Since I managed to snap one clean off at the clamp...

It's the older style one I'm after but I could be tempted by something else.

Which ever type: deore/lx/xt/saint, as long as I'm right in thinking they were all the same just different colours.

i have one in a box at hoem, can't remember if it is Left or right. i'll check to night. It's a saint in dark grey.

Don't apologise just yet johnfb; you made me re-read what I'd posted and I've just realised it doesn't make sense at all!

I do need a right hand lever for the front brake not the left... doh!
