im building up an evil and i want to put oil and coil pikes on it. i have a set of new fox vanilla 36 r but there too big for the evil. anyone out there want to swap/part ex? the vans are cut to about 190 but id have to measure them for an accurate length. there is a tiny nick in the back of the crown but apart from that they are new. never ridden.

Hia Joe,
I just built an Evil Sovereign with Pike 454 U turns, it feels great, I love it, they really suit it. However, you have a great fork - I do still really like the VAN 36 on my other bike too. Maybe you could get Mojo to reduce the travel to 140, I use My Pike U turn's at full extension - which to memory is 140 or 150. Mojo did this for my mate in the shop (to be fair his fork was a Float 36 though - they put it down to 120 I think, for a 4X bike).Posted 2 years ago # -
hay mudfish. i spoke to mojo about the 2009 van 36. they cant change the travel! only way to do it is to cut the spring and they thought that might be a bad idea. cant wait to get my sovereign built. its going to be sweet.

Dunno if you got my mail, but I have some 8 month old Pike 454 coil u-turns in excellent condition. Can do photos etc tomorrow, steerer length about 200, but will check.

I'll get some pics to you,
I bought them on my bike 2nd hand, the guy had only had about 10 rides on the whole bike.
There are some marks on them but I'll show them in the pics.
