Hm, having finally installed the Hope b/b I bought off here a few months ago (I was quite pleased, it only actually took me half an hour or so in the end to have the crappy Shimano one out and put the new one in), and with that running smoothly...
I am now tempted to think about a cranks upgrade, seeing as they are the only bit of my bike that's original (except the frame itself) - and quite fancy some Middleburns.
Anyone got any going begging? Would consider most colours. I don't need rings, I have several despite only using one since it's single speed!!
(NB. The new b/b takes my mid-90s Kona AA singlespeed down to 19.5lb, by the way, which feels quite good.)
