Need a helmet, I want something that can give me a bit more protection at the trail centres. Currently got a giro xen but it is now broken. Iv been looking at the casco viper and met helmets, are these a good buy. Or does anybody have anything that would be suitable?

Got an older Giro Hex(pressie) that's been worn about 3 times but I never liked the shape.....been stuck on the hat rack for about a year. I think it fits heads up to 59cm.Can do pics if your interested. £15 + postage.
