FYI, original Anthem had 90mm (3.5")...not 80mm (I had one before it was replaced with a X)

Jose has an XTC, with 100mm sids on it, and we are of the school of thought that giants come too twitchy, and work best when the forks are one notch longer than the frame travel
(both XTCs we have run/ran 105mm forks, and my trance (4.2") is a beaut with 130mm revs on
anthem X suffers from the same with 100mm fork i believe, shame they dont make the anthems anymore!

Nothing wrong with either versions as standard, original Anthem was an out and out racer with 80mm fork, hence the super fast handling. Anthem x (run mine with 100mm sid's) is fairly similar just slightly relaxed angles to handle more trail riding rather than pure xc stuff.
Normally a few Anthem frames on ebay (there has been recently), whether you'll fins an xs is a different matter.
