My 6'8" mate is after one, mainly for riding to work, so the cheaper the better ... anyone selling anything?
Full bike rather than bits preferred.

Bikes that will fit your mate are very rare (i've got a 23" framed Rockhopper 29er) so it's highly unlikely that you'd find one second hand.
Kona do a 22" frame, Spesh do a 23" and so do Gary Fisher for 2010. The basic models can be had for around £800 or so (maybe a bit less on the base Fisher) but he'd have to buy first, try later as shops will not get these sizes in for a trial i'm afraid. Try ringing Chevin cycles as they are big into 29ers and stock Gary Fisher.
When i got my bike last Xmas it was one of only two in the country at the time and i've never seen anybody else on one since. My full suss 29er was imported from the states and that's a 22" size.
