Got a Shimano R600 50/34. been used but not much,bit of rubbing on arms from my fat feet but found my legs arent made for compact gearing!

@4ags4 - is the chainset 10 spd, and if so, can it be run with a 9 spd cassette? Are chain widths compatible? Cheers

The chainset is from a 10 speed groupset though I don't see any reason why it can't be used with 9 speed as the chain if anything will be a fraction wider - whether the cassette is 9 speed doesn't really matter.
It would only become a problem if trying to use with a narrower campy 11 speed chain.Posted 2 years ago #
