wtd adaptor trek rear 22mm to IS caliper

mrs antigee's old wsd trek has a rear caliper mount with 22m centres - anyone got an adaptor that fits to give an IS mount? - reading around seems like some gary fischer bikes needed same

or if you know anywhere in uk that you can get one

You're unlikely to have room in between the c/stay and s/stay for the adaptor and a caliper. That mount was for a specific Hayes caliper which is no longer available.
An adaptor was available for the VRX as the mount was on the back of the dropout and wasn't enclosed by the rear triangle, but on smaller (18" and below) hardtail frames, there just isn't sufficient room sadly.

thanks this is a 13" frame! but the 22mm apart bolt lugs (?) are "on the back of the dropout" as you say for the VRX not inside the rear triangle

much searching later and a part number from a bikeradar thread found one i reckon for a tenner at Pedal On so that has cheered me up
