wtd 140-160mm fs or ht size large

Hi im looking for a full sus or a hardtail in large with around 140-160mm travel something along the lines of a spicy or zesty anything really... that can take a beating when i feel energetic ... ive got about £1000 to spend and it needs to be right as its will be my only bike for a while

I've recently listed my Cube AMS 125 in the foresale section if it meets the bill? 140 mm Fox talas forks up front and 125mm travel at the back.
