They are to replace the ones on this bike..

Anyone got anything knocking about that's cheaper than a set of Surlys?

I've got 2 sets arround somewhere.......
One (Reynolds 531 lugged) only has half a steerer tube, although looking at those frame it might be long enough as the original was about 9".
The other (Reynolds 501 lugged) is bent from a not quite head on collision, I rode them for ages but they make the handling very wierd.
Free if you pick them up, Mercian in derby (old skool frame building LBS) quoted £35 to straighten them, but said it might be better to braze in a new steerer to the other pair.
I have got a spare pair of carbon/ti forks, they are normal road bike forks, so not straight bladed like those in your pic.
If interested, can do pics/measurements this evening (once I have removed them from the (retired) bike.
(Would want about £25 for em.)
Sounds good Dez, not really concerned about condition as long as they are safe!
I'll measure the ones I have tonight and we can compare!
Cheers
They're Kestrel. This is the only pic on the web I could find -

No problems with condition or safety! They were used regularly, I just got a new bike
Aaaaarggghh......
Sorry Dez, just checked the bike - they are threadless! Sorry mate, hope you haven't wasted too much time.
I could ease your pain with some New Model Army?
Phew, luckily checked this before entering the garage! No worries mate
