I was having a set of wheels built with 28h Mavic 819s, except Mavic are playing the silly arse about supplying the rims. I am now looking for an alternative; don’t want to use Stan’s as I don’t trust non-eyeletted rims. Before I settle on DT rims and getting the drill out, does anyone have any experience of WTB TCS rims, and what work do they need to run tubeless?

They’re basically WTB rims supplied with a Stan’s-esque rim strip. I ran older WTB rims ghetto tubeless and it worked really well because of the shoulder on the rims, which the tyre pops onto and doesn’t pop off easily, stops burping apparently.

Thanks! I’ll have a look at those. I assume the rims don’t need any drilling round the valve or anything like the Stan’s kit does?
