The Maxxis Minion 2.35 Kevlars that I ordered have just arrived but to me the look like they have a wire bead. The bead is very strong and doesn't fold like every other Kevlar tyre I've had, is this just usual for Maxxis Kevlar beads? The stock item sticker says they are Kevlar but there's nothing on the sidewall to say so. Is it send them back time?

When they arrived, they should have been folded up in Maxxis original packaging, not just folded up to post. The kevlar bead allows them to be literally rolled up without any problems. Hope this helps confirm what you have.

Thought they were wrong, I was just wondering if DH tyre kevlar beads are a lot lot stronger! Cheers
