Have to say I’m with you OCB, but it really boils my urine when I see the kids riding with lids on and Dads is hanging off the bars.

Yup, I’m a “live and let live” sort of person, but when I see kids going round the red loop at a trail centre with no helmets on and dad following, I almost have to say something even though I know I’ll get a mouthful in return. I can never work out if it’s stupidity, stubbornness or ignorance that is the cause, but I am glad that it’s relatively infrequent (for smaller kids anyway) and that the faster, racier kids nearly always wear them.
