well I too read Astrid’s article, and I think she makes some valid points and probably asks some uncomfortable questions.

that would depend entirely on how boring my kids grow up to be..

I suspect that I would shield them if they were good company..

however if they were dull I would surreptitiously get the boring little toads taken off my hands..

if my kids went looting i would only hand em in if i was disappointed with the haul.

Not a question i worry about as my kids would never get involved in somthing like that.

They would be more worried about reporcutions from me than the police anyway, just as i was with my dad.

Would I hand them over? Why? Where would I get my plasma screen and new clothes etc from if they are taken away? 😐
