I’m thinking about getting a new frame… A Transition covert.

Everything will go over form my current bike pretty much. BUT… I have 150mm forks.

Would it be ok to run the forks I have with the right headset while I save up for some new ones or will teh bike just be rubbish?

    thanks.

Ok so it wouldn’t be too bad for the couple of months it’ll take me to save up for some forks. thanks.

Oh, so many times I’ve said that..so many ruined finances later… 😉

Your forks should be fine, may just be a little tall on the climbs.

Tall? It’s designed for 160mm forks.

Oh is it? I read ‘Covert’ but thought ‘Trans-am’.
I assumed the problem was the other way around(without being bothered to look). It’ll be a little short then… 🙂

I’ve double, double checked… the right headset and it should all be ok.
