Having previously felt significant improvements upgrading to stans arch rims and tubeless tyres on my stumpjumper, I’m keen to make sure I’m getting the best out of my trek emonda sl5 sooner rather than later.. I have an itch!

So the Bontrager Race Tlr wheels I’m sure (1769g) are fine but As there are many lighter ones available at my £350 budget I’m pondering whether to take the plunge. With tyres, I could pick up some fulcrum racing 3s for £329 which would result in a total saving of 450g. 210g being the tyres only though.

Can anyone recommend a worthwhile upgrade for the money?

I’m working on removing some weight from myself.( thought I’d get in there first).
