  • Worth keeping my stock tyres?

    New bike, Whyte 129S came with a Maxxis Ardent 120tpi front tyre and Maxxis ikon 60 tpi rear. I’ve not used these before, I’m a Maxxis Ignitor fan.

    Anyone had any experiences with these? they worth keeping or swapping over?

    I’ve not ridden the bike in anger yet, still slowly setting it up and swapping some stuff on it.

    Good to have spares. Hang on to them unless you can sell them and replace them with your choice of tyre.

    OEM tyres can be a bit ropey IMHO. Good place for mnfr to save some cash.

    I’d keep ’em as spares.
