  • Worn carbon fibre dropout on Cube MTB. Possible repair options?

I have a 2013 Cube Reaction GTC SL and the inside face of the frame on the drive side is full carbon (don’t ask me why). It’s a QR frame and I have always had issues with the rear wheel make a noise when you pushed really hard on the pedals. As a result the QR skewer was cranked up tight to stop the noise and I have also recently moved over to a DT Swiss RWS thru axle bolt. This works great, but has just made the alloy face of the wheel hub eat more into the soft carbon on the drive side.

Would like to try and salvage the frame, but whilst I have epoxy to hand, I can’t see how you would create a lasting repair.

If anyone has had the same issue and had a repair carried out, please let me know what was done.

    Thanks
