I’m sure STW could organise something more awesome.

How about a round Britain Battenburg relay? We have an off-road route round Britain, forumites volunteer to ride a local section of the route, passing a Batternurg Baton on to the next person, but must resist eating the baton. This would be sick to the power of awesomeness squared!

Vin Cox (current world record holder for circumnavigation) is also organising a similar thing – Global Bike Race – a race for people to try and break his own world record.
