Very busy today, important jobs to do etc etc but thought this might be worth sharing…..

Bleeding the brakes on the bouncer and I predictably covered both front and rear discs in a liberal coating of mineral oil. Poo thinks I. Ah well off to the John Deere garage, they’ll have something useful. They kind of did, but in 5 gallon drums. Think again, went home and noticed the post christmas oven cleaning (which has been temporarily potponed – a number of times) Mr Muscle oven cleaner. Quick squirt onto a washing up pad, gave ’em a rub and a rinse off et voila working brakes again. (until the pas delaminate on a high speed descent, that is). So there you go in a ham fisted ill prepared with no degreaser brake bodge emergency situation – reach for the oven cleaner.

Anyhoo back to work, importnant jobs to do you know…..
