    Legit – which means honest.
    I’d laugh, but our new words in the 90s were just as bad.

    I’m pretty sure people were saying legit in the 90s.

    pied = blanked

    derived from ‘air pie’ (which in turn comes from ‘air’, ie ‘nothing’)

    so – to ‘get air’, to ‘get air pie’, to ‘get pied’, to ‘get pied off’ etc, all mean much the same thing.
