Thorn Wood – on the border between Weaverham and Hartford in Cheshire along the B5153 (postcode CW8 3AN).
Wood Fuel Event on Saturday 18th January 2014 11am-3pm at Thorn Wood. This is on the border between Weaverham and Hartford in Cheshire along the B5153 (postcode CW8 3AN).
The site is owned by the Woodland Trust and we are thinning across the entire site to create a sustainable firewood scheme. This is the first of its kind for the Trust.
We will also have demos by a chainsaw sculpture, willow weaving, charcoal making, wood burning stove display, blacksmiths, den building and have-a-go coppicing.
Firewood will be available to order or buy on the day.
