Not looking to spend a fortune, but i don’t know where to start when looking at winter gloves. All i know is they need to water proof and keep my hands as warm as poss, ideas or suggestions of gloves purchased would help, thanks.

I recently bought Gore Tool IV ones – very pleased with them – soft, good feel, toasty. Not bad price on Wiggle with discounts

you want a waterproof membrane and a thermal lining. Like the Alturas I’m selling in classifieds 🙂 😆

Lobster type gloves are amazingly warm-not tried the sealskins but my specialized ones are TOO warm and dont get used in the UK (needs to be below -10C or my hands sweat!) plus the loss of dexterity/control is an issue for some. If you suffer from cold hands/poor circulation they might be a good bet.
