I fancy some nice Ground effect ones, but due to skintness I'll probably end up with Merstons.

They'll end up doing 100 miles+ most weeks through the winter crud so I could do with something harder wearing, anything else worth a look?

I just got some Gore Xenon 3/4 Raw bibs. Lovely.

Northwaves from Evans – a step up in quality from the DHBs IMHO

I have some Lusso Max Repel tights for everyday use and if the weather gets properly cold/wet/nasty then I have some Endura Stealth Lite bibs which are totally ace.

Lusso's much underrated kit, my local stockist only has the coolmax versions though, and the guys not super responsive to ordering stuff in either.

I'll have another look at the Gore/Endura options, the one thing that's keeping me away from the more expensive bibs is the inevitable mid-Jan ice/knee/tarmac contact that happens every year.
