Evening,

I’m looking for some recommendations for a windproof jacket/softshell for road use that I could get a base layer under.

I’m 6’4″ so would be great to know if there are any brands that tend come up longer or any to avoid? Not looking to spend a fortune if possible.

I’ve got a Giant thin softshell waterproof that packs away to roadie back pocket size but is long armed and very cosy.

I’m 6’5″, 100kg. I use an XL Rab Boreas pull-on with a Brynje string vest or Ulvang merino base layer. So far I’ve managed to get 3 for under £35 each.

I’m 6’6” and use a gore windstopper.
