  • Will Shimano chain connector pins work on a KMC chain?

    I shortened my chain too much and need to put an extra link back, but I ruined the original pin, which I believe you’re not mean’t to re-use anyway. Does anyone know if the Shimano ones will work in a KMC chain? Both chains are 10 speed.

    Put another kmc connector in it. I’ve ran SRAM chains before with 2 or even 3 quick links in them, no issues. I think the shimano pin is a sh1t idea.
