  • Will any Avid brake pad work on any Avid hydraulic disc brake?

    I ask because I want to stock up on brake pads before hitting the Alps next week, but I don't know whether I'm going to have a Specialized Enduro hire bike or a Pitch, and I don't know whether it's going to be 2009 or 2010. I just know that all of these bikes use Avid brakes – but some use the Elixir range, whereas others use the Juicy range. Am I just going to have to wait until I'm out there, and therefore get scalped by Alps prices?

    Juicys and elixir brakes don't use the same pads.
