Thinking of adding a Bluetooth adaptor to an old B&W Zepplin.

It has a USB socket on the back for software updates. It is a USB Type B female.

    Will it provide 5v out?

It would be nice if I could connector the Bluetooth adaptor to it and keep the cabling tidy.

    No; sorry.

Any other sockets on the back / what’s the power supply voltage ?

    It’s 240v power supply, standard C7 socket.

Only other connections are audio and a S video.

I will probably shorten the power cord and put a 2 way lead behind the speaker.

The Mrs hates wires, so it’s just to keep her sweet. There’s not much point if I add bluetooth to get rid of 3.5mm jack and just add another power cable.

    ok; that limits things 🙂

I’d buy a c7 splitter and a c7->usb psu (e.g. the Apple ipad charger has a c7 connector behind the removable plug) – that’s about as neat as you could get it.
