  • Will a e thirteen xcx e type chainguide fit with my specialized epics dmd mount?

    Hi all,
    wanting to set up my spesh 2010 epic marathon 1by10 but struggling with mounting a chain guide. bb mount wont work as its a press fit, band on wont work as its not a round seat tube so the e thirteen xcx e-type/sram s3 seems my only option. But when looking at the spec http://www.evanscycles.com/products/specialized/epic-fsr-marathon-2010-mountain-bike-ec020332
    It only metions dmd not ‘e type’ will it still fit?

    MRP do a variation on that too, can order direct from then, I’d drop them an email, ‘cos there are a bunch of standards for that stuff

    Yup!

    S3 mount is exactly what you want. Running the E13 top only guide on my camber and works spot on.

    Easy to fit and set up – combined with a clutch mech – I’m happy!
