Heading up to greystoke next weekend and fancy a night under the stars. Thinking somewhere near keswick but nothing with too much pushinf n shoving as it aint much fun with a fully loaded bike.

How remote do you want to be?
I suppose anywhere round the shore of Derwentwater would okay, not strictly legal but if you pitched up late enough who’s to know or care. Would be nicer on the west side. If you want somewhere a bit more remote but not too much elevation or effort to get there then round the back of skid daw would suffice. Follow the road from Keswick round skiddaw to the left then a track comes off that, and comes round the mountain passing skiddaw house, anywhere along that track would be good. Or get some height up Skiddaw itself. I can imagine there’d be tons of places round loads of places round Keswick.

Fancied the borrowdale bash but not sure about doing it loaded up

I’d suggest getting out there a bit, though that normally involves shove/carrying. Borrowdale is always busy. The island on the lake is cool for an evening but a bit hard to get to by bike
