  • Wifi extender (no access to router)

My MIL has just moved into a new flat. The landlord who lives next door (house is about 30m away) has given her their wifi password. She can only get a useable signal in the living room, near the window which isn’t ideal.

Is there a wifi extender that she could get to plug in near the window that grabs the signal and would push it around her flat. She has the wifi password but no access to the router.

Any recommendations for a cheap(ish) solution that will do the job?

Any wifi extender will do, if she knows the SSID and has the key that’s all that’s required.

I like TP Link stuff, but that’s just a personal preference.

Netgear range extenders are pretty good. Search for available networks, select the one you want to connect to, input password of you go.
I suspect most will be similar.
