Coming to terms with the fact my feet and knees are weird.

DMR V8s extend 108mm outwards from the crank. Ditto my superstar pedals. I now realise this is not far enough.

I bought some pedal extenders that put the pedals 20mm further outwards (each). This is too far. Unfortunately you can’t get smaller extenders as they wouldn’t have enough screw thread.

Can anyone recommend some good but not overly pricey flat pedals that are either wider or have a longer axle to put them in the 118mm range, i.e. about 10mm wider than the DMRs?

The Vault platforms are 115x115mm, plus about 10mm of axle. Not cheap but excellent grip. Had one pair for 5 years and the others for almost 3. I like a wide Q factor too – I have my feet towards the outside of the Vaults so I can just about see the two most inward pins on each.

Whew that’s enormous … hang on … dmr website says they’re 105×105 which is more sensible. Have they changed size or are some retailers quoting distance from the crank?
