What a bizarre name. No the type of bike I’d ride in Glencoe…..

Random observation, but Whyte never seem to do carbon forks at this price range. The Friston is the same. I wonder why?

Friston has a carbon fork for definite, trust me.

But yes I was a little confuse by lack of carbon fork on the Glencoe myself. They’ve done their research though, seems other factors including the price point are more important to potential customers.

Looking at the rear brake mounts is it possible to upgrade the brakes or do you need an adapter

I had a spin on last year’s model at Peak Cycle Sports and thought it had an alu fork. Shows how much difference it makes I suppose as I didn’t even notice.

The Glencoe is lovely looking though. If I had the cash I’d be interested in one.

I got one of these a couple of weeks ago and it’s fantastic!

Nobeerinthefridge, have a go one one and you’ll never want to ride anything else in Glencoe!

postierich, it is possible to upgrade the brakes but an adapter is needed.

Great to see another 650b gravel bike. ( I have a Slate) . Hopefully more tyre choices will become available.

Bit on the hefty side at 10.9kg surely?
My Alu hardtail weighs less and obviously has the increased weight of a suspension fork and bigger tyres.

    It is pretty though

Hate to say this, but those brake caliper’s look odd/clunky.

Whyte Yorkshire Dales National Park would have been more appropriate.

Oh FFS. Why can’t people get it right. Glen Coe is a beautiful rugged valley in Scotland with stunning scenery and some good riding.

Glencoe is a pissy two bit village by the beach with a petrol station and a hotel
