  • Whyte E5 with 140-150mm fork?

I am thinking about changing the fork on my Whyte E5 (SC32) to something with a bit more travel. I ride over the fork a lot and the SC32 doesnt seem to be able to match the back end for performance. I was thinking of RC41 Fighter but the axle to crown is an inch longer than the SC32. Is there a way of calculating the head angle with this increase as i was never any good at geometry!

I dont mind slacking it out a bit especially with the travel adjust on the Pace but dont want to go too far and end up ripping the head tube off the frame. The other option is an XCAM or an older Fox 32 (130mm) but i dont think i will gain much. I have always run longer forks (FR Heckler with 66's etc) and i think this is why i have such a freaky riding style now but i am too old to ride properly and need to find a bandaid solution!
