Here in the South it’s foggy, damp and 7 degrees although feels considerably colder. Driecht in fact.
Can someone please explain why a (male) runner was only wearing shorts, socks and running shoes plus the inevitable mp3 player. Why would anyone run without a top in December?
saw an older chap out on his bike the other Sunday running shorts pair of pumps and a stripey jumper, the car said it was 0c out side and he doing a fair ol’ speed 🙂 they were the whitest knees i’ve seen in a long time !
He’ll probably have a classic narcissistic personality type, with a strong leaning towards the exhibitionist tendencies inherent within this personality strata.
He’ll have very much enjoyed you looking at him, I’m afraid.
South coast here, very moist but warm, it’s t shirt weather if you’re exercising. I’d suggest he was avoiding nippular chafing or he’s proud of his new spray tan.
Plenty of runners here in the North East with some wearing shorts while others wearing something more just to run but only some with those reflective tights etc … 😆
Are they trying to reduce their body fat by running (burning) it off? 😯
Me colleague thinks they have done no benefit to themselves (can’t see them running in the dark) or their bodies … 😛
I always assumed this was a British thing (you can always tell the Brits in winter in Prague for example)but yesterday here in Germany in temperatures hovering around -4 degs I saw a hippy walking down the road in a T-shirt, flimsy shorts and sandles without socks and a rucksack on his back. I thought there must have been eddies in the space-time continuum and he had been transported from a beach in Thailand. 😯
I’d never go topless, but if running or cycling it’s shorts and T-shirt all year or maybe a long sleeved base layer and hat (bald) if it gets really cold. I just get way too warm wearing more when exercising. Once wore long pants for a run and it felt like my legs were going to melt.
