..ride today in shorts and a short sleeve jersey..

Yup superb conditions on the Chase today just a few overdressed riders stripping off here and there. Must admit a short-sleeved base layer and trousers/tights is not a good look 🙂

I’m out for a night ride tonight, forecast is 16 degrees. 14 degrees and less is usually my cut off for base layer on and switch to full leg cover, looks like tonight I shall be in short sleeves.

21 degrees average according to my Garmin for today’s ride – madness I tell you! But I’m not complaining…

So its highly likely 5th November was pretty chilly 2012 & 2013, and likely to be the same this year.

And I’m pleased to report I was right 🙂

Average of 3.0°C this morning and a low of 1.0°C. It was a lovely ride in.

36c here and felt more like 40c yesterday the only ice is in the drinks but I’m avoiding it to stay clear of the potential issues.

Well that soon changed. Riding down from Worcestershire Beacon last night my eyeballs felt like ice arrows were piercing them and the armwarmers were pulled UP. Still not cold enough to climb with a jacket tho…is it ever…

Most years I’m still mowing it into December, albeit not every week.
