    What an inspiring-sounding person. Puts all those “What bike for xxxx?” conversations into perspective, if you can ride nearly 30,000 miles a year on a 1930s Rudge Whitworth.

    I met Billie last year and interviewed her concerning the record. She was an amazing woman with an incredibly modest outlook as to her achievement. If you search real hard you may even find a book I wrote about it which I dedicated to Billie
