i would assume it’s as you did not actually delete the mail, only the copy on your phone. Probably some settings to check. Probably need to say what e-mail you are using and how it’s linked

What’s the email account set up as on this device and other devices you access that account with? POP/IMAP/Exchange?

One of the devices may be taking control of the mailbox and not deleting the emails….

Might be able to help a bit. I’ve got my hotmail one linked to my phone. If you log into it on a computer I have about 1000 unread emails. I recently upgraded my phone and it automatically transfers 100 email to your phone, all unread so I deleted them for it only to download another 100. What I did was just mark them all then mark as read so there is no unread ones sitting. As new ones come in they push the old ones out. Sorted. I’m sure there is a more technical way.

Got anything constructive to say? I would guess you’ve never used one, from that comment. Now, my brother and sister-in-law have both got Android phones of some sort, possibly Samsung. The photos my sis’s phone takes are crap, my bro is on either his second or his third, I’ve lost track, ‘cos he keeps having to get them replaced every six months or so. I’m on my third iPhone, and each one of those has lasted two or more years, and all three still work just fine.
Personal experience tells me, Jamie, that you are talking utter bollocks.

Impossible, and therefore lies. I put it to you, sir, that you are both a bounder and a cad, and that your opinion of the iphone is no more reliable than a chocolate teapot.
