  • Why can't I find an XM481 boost front wheel?

I need a new boost front wheel and want to get a DT Swiss XM481 on ideally a hope Pro 4.

Don’t these exist? I can’t find them as an option on the wheel building sites I know.

Anyone have any info or help on where I might be successful in my search.

If 27.5 you can get the XM1501 Boost front wheel in a 30mm option which is the XM481 rim on a way better hub.

Try Eighteen bikes. I emailed Si for a quote for a pair XM481’s on Boost Pro4’s.

Will be placing order with them tomorrow or Friday.

Mosey – any chance of getting that bike back soon? It looks like I might have another deserving cause to support 😆

Yup, Moonglu or 18 bikes if you want to go handbuilt.

Or just get the 30 mm XM Spine 1’s, same rim with 240 hubs and all the gubbins included, bit more cash though.

I have a set of 481’s on 240’s from moonglu.
Neil builds a good wheel, but deffo upgrade the nipples. I have just replaced two which snapped. I don’t know what he uses as standard but they weren’t the DT Swiss torx ones.
