Several Ben Nevis 4.0 I.P.A here & a couple Arran Blondes for dessert.

Any suggestions for tomorrow’s lunchtime headache-removing-lager/beer/ale?

    I’m having pie.

Franziskaner Weissbier, £1.49 a bottle from LiDL, while stocks last. I went in looking for cheap bike stuff and came out with a crate of this instead.

Had a very long night photographing three bands in Newcastle, watching everyone else drinking beer and getting lairy. Back home now and into my third can of Becks. Not the tipple of choice but the 24 hour garage only sells ’emergency’ beer.

4 tinnies of cider and a quarter litre home made lavender schnaps… and now, the expected thick head…

Think its the ethanol in the schnaps…

Last night, a single pint of Scarlett McCaw from Oakham, forgotten just how much of a grapefruit twist it has.

Single pint as driving and laying off the beer for before the London 10k tomorrow – what was I thinking!

I had several bottles of Koppaberg Strawberry and Lime, it is so very sweet 😀

Then I went out and had some normal boring pub lager, Fosters i think it was, and have a headache now.

Just had scrambled egg with spagetti hoops on toast and a bottle of coca cola for breakfast to try and help.

    Nectar of the gods.

If C is 25 and cycles 100k a week, how many Real Ale weekends does he have left until he looks like this>?

I think I’m going to have a few now as I’m riding early tomorrow. There’s quite a few Sierra Nevada pale ales in the kitchen…just hoping there’s still a few left come morning! 😀

I was drinking Jennings Cumberland Ale and Brains ‘Le Peleton’ last night and most enjoyable they were too.

Sierra Nevada bullies my head in the morning, so does Blue Moon for that matter, something funny must happen in the cargo plane.

Having a notion for some Modelo, but I’ve forgotten what the sun looks like so it wouldn’t be right.

Need a nice comforting “pssing down” ale.

Like Innis & Gunn Rum cask.

tomorrow I shall be brewing 20-23 litres of a clone of a well known belgian lager.
