Well as someone who can't stand football & couldn't give a toss if England get knocked out at the first hurdle....I want Portugal to win cos I drew them in the sweep at work.
& no, I don't have a flag hanging off the car, it would affect my mpg.Posted 1 year ago # -

George Cross flags? Isn't that Malta?

I'd rather shave my eyeballs and then use daves insanity sauce as for eyewash than have an england flag on the car. They are useful though as it enables you to spot people that drive like knobends, the more flags, the more dangerous they are as general rule of thumb

I've bought four Consumer Units for work (I'm an electrician), they all come with support England emblazoned t-shirts.
Three things, I can't abide football, I'm not close with anyone who likes football and I'm not English. What's the polite thing to do?Posted 1 year ago # -
What's the polite thing to do?
give to a charity shop

I have a real problem with this, as I think of myself as British!

And what's with all the England flags on Audis, Renaults and Fiats ?
Patriotism is for life, not just for a football game.

I'm with militantgraham, Why are people showing off their patriotism by hanging their england flags off their Hyundais and Chevrolets?
IF you're going to be a full time patriot then please at least start out by supporting our economy.
Saying that I drive a French car,a French van and have a French house, with a very French mortgage!

And what's with all the England flags on Audis, Renaults and Fiats ?
What cars would you put them on ?
Ford ..American
Vauxhall.. are they still American?Caterham maybe but it's got no window to stick the flag in!!

Morgan, they're British.
Oh, hang on, it's the window problem again.Posted 1 year ago # -
Patriotism is for life, not just for a football game.
so, all woolen clothing, no spuds, tomatoes, bananas, oranges, garlic, curry, olives, cornflakes, wine, snogging (French kissing) ??

I think you're confusing patriotism with isolationism.

[rant] does anyone actually think England have even the slightest chance of winning?
Not into football, but I used to support England and quite liked the world cup. But with a team made up mainly of absolute tossers who just think they can do anything they want and everyone will still worship them, I'd really rather support some non-league hockey team made up of people who make sacrifices for their sport rather than just expect the world on a plate. Wayne rooney is a dreadful roll model for young lads and the likes of ashley cole...etc etc [/rant]

I don't need to, its a Land Rover.
Indian owned now but still built by Brummies.
Plus I loathe footy and I'm more assorted celtic than English.

No car but flag on bike
Posted 1 year ago # -
judging by the number of broken bits in the verge, nobody has flags on their cars any more...
Posted 1 year ago # -
Papa Laz . So what has Rooney done to make himself a bad role model for young lads ?
