    Did this last year and it was a brilliant event.

    It’s a bloody hard 26 mile slog with a bitchclimb lane at the end.

    Pity they only have one bog for pre-ride purges. And over 400 entries…

    They don’t publicise the route for some reason.

    They just list a number of places the event passes through. It’s a great mix of terrain though including slogs across moorland, fast descents, technical rocky descents and lots of climbing.

    Ooo.. that looks interesting. What is the date in October?

    A great find as I’ll be moving to that part of the world soon and will miss my regular CVMBC circuit that I do on the southern side of the M62.

    I’ll be doing this event for the umpteenth time. It was through taking part in this that I actually got into mtb-ing in the first place. Great route with a testing mix of terrain, with a proper ****t of a hill to finish on.
