    Tensioner on my old sanderson.
    EBB on my old swift
    Swinging dropouts on my el-mariachi.

Plenty of solutions to SS+disks without having to adjust the disk relative to the rotor.

I’ve been commuting on a 20 year old single speed. Kona for the past five years love it no pissing about with gears .

Since moving from the south downs to Northamptonshire I’ve ditched mine. Counterintuitivly so singlespeed is rubbish on the flat but great in hills.

My 3yr old twins both ride SS though!

Exactly, just need to get the right gear for the area/riding you do. It will always be a compromise such is the nature of having one gear but you need to get the best compromise.

Even changes from winter to summer.
