My ancient weinmann bcx3s are distinctly worn out... But it appears that at some point in the 22 years since I got 'em, v brake 26 inch rims have become a little uncool for some reason It's a hybrid (well, it's an old mtb but that's basically what a hybrid is right?) only ever used on the road so light is better than tough, but cheap is better than both...
Who makes a decent lightweight 36-hole rim brake 26 inch rim these days?
Try sjs cycles
Seem lots of touring bikes still use rim brake and 26" wheels
Build a few drc rims and always been impressed
