My ancient weinmann bcx3s are distinctly worn out… But it appears that at some point in the 22 years since I got ’em, v brake 26 inch rims have become a little uncool for some reason 🙂 It’s a hybrid (well, it’s an old mtb but that’s basically what a hybrid is right?) only ever used on the road so light is better than tough, but cheap is better than both…

    Try sjs cycles
Seem lots of touring bikes still use rim brake and 26″ wheels
Build a few drc rims and always been impressed
