Im looking to buy a new computer monitor for around 100 quid and around the 19inch mark. ive seen this and this which both look nice, but ive got no idea whether they are actually any good.

Also one of they connect using DDC/CI (i think), what the hell is this? will it be compatible with my graphics card, i think it has a standard VGA output??????

As you can probably tell from my nonsensical rambling, I need some help please 😀

If you want the LG one then go for the slightly more expensive and larger one as it is slightly better spec. and is a more recent model. Both will support your VGA card.

Another one to consider would be:

This has built in speakers, support for both VGA and DVI and 3 year warranty.

The DDC is a way for your PC to directly interact with the monitor to determine optimum resolution, contracts ratios etc.
