Another nail in the coffin of the STW forum. Ridiculous behaviour and underlines limiting visits to the Bike and For Sale forums in the same way as catfood seems to have reached.

Not STW’s best moment, I agree.

Strikes me that this kind of thread can only really work if entertainment value surpasses personal ego-tripping by a considerable margin. We need a core of proper righteous anger that just won’t quit in the face of logic – ideally coming from two bruisers with no sense of perspective or self-awareness. Personally, some authentic hard-ass big-hitting circa a few years ago would have sweetened the reading experience.

This is basically ‘big-hitter-lite’. 🙁
