    of putting on soggy cycling gear tonight for the commute home?

    I can bear soggy gloves, but putting on wet shorts isnt fun…. time to invest in some waterproof trousers me thinks.

    Was also wondering whether waterproof socks like sealskinz are worth it or is it actually better to get shoe covers or even a set of winter shoes/boots?

    Overshoes are a Godsend on a wet commute.

    It was a bit wet when I left but dried up. Rain doesn't bother me as I have a nice hot radiator to dry stuff on. And yes overshoes are great.
