As above I am going to get the travel on a pair of manitou forks reduced from 140 to 120, does anybody have any reccomendations of companies or individuals to use? Ta.

Are you talking about fitting a set of volument reducers, or making custom adjustments to the length of the shaft to permanently reduce the travel?
If it’s the former your lbs should be able to reduce the travel on a set of Manitous, or you could even do it yourself with a bit of care and possibly a couple of extra tools if you don’t own them.

I want to use a company, my lbs is the last place I would take my bike and I would not trust myself to do it!

I’m sorry, I can’t comment on the Manitous, but I did my son’s Fox forks myself and it only took 30 mins or so. Needs a few special bits and pieces, notably shock fluid (upper and lower – they are different) and a chamferless socket.

This looks not dissimilar to the Fox process and very much DIY-friendly:

The problem with sending it off is that you’ll probably spend more on postage than on the job itself. I would have recommended tftuned, but it seems they are picky on which Manitou forks they’ll touch:

    …and it’ll probably cost a fair amount 🙁
